I remember the first time my lips met yours. We were on our first real date and we went to go see 21 Jump Street. The theater was full of disrespectful children and you laughed at me for wanting to kill them. I, with great apprehension put my arm around your shoulders not knowing if I would be rejected or not. I wasn’t and that lead to you laying in my lap and the fateful moment in which we kissed. It felt like Burt’s bees chapstick lol, you know the tingle cause of the mint? Or maybe small beads of mint exploding on your tongue when you chew a spearmint. Either way I had to catch my breath. I never knew that I’d eventually fall in love with you. I liked you a lot but I had just gotten over a heartbreak And I just wanted the physical. That happened soon after but instead of us going our separate ways we grew closer. I thought that sex would ruin us but it didn’t. When feelings are that strong things like sex are minuscule. I remember after the first time you told me you didn’t want to share and since then I’ve been yours. I’d like to thank you for showing me what true love is. You treat me like a king and I, you as my queen. Shit I remember I was some sort of boo thang, we didn’t really put a title on it. Shit just fell into place. Shit happened sooo fast but we took it slow. I can’t really say fast cause love doesn’t really have a time limit but shit, 5 months? Lol. All because of a chance meeting in which you had to sign me in for a friend. It’s funny how life works.

I either don’t trust or find it the most arduous of tasks to complete. Probably because I find it hard to trust myself in certain situations. I need to go on a hiatus, cut everything off and just breathe. I feel trapped in an emotional fuckin box and outside of it are people peeking through the holes meant for me to breathe snickering and whispering their disapproval.
